Jonathan Glazer's directorial debut, Sexy Beast, is a heist thriller featuring an all time great performance from Sir Ben Kingsley. Here he's equal parts swearing machine and crime gang psychopath. He really does steal this movie! All us dads recommend this one, especially if you want to level up your swearing skills!

With three of the Dads being big fans of From Dusk Till Dawn the pressure was on Sidey to make it a full house. Quentin Tarantino wrote and starred alongside George Clooney in the bonkers film of two halves. It is very difficult to watch the film nowadays without knowing a lot of what goes down here. Kinji Fukasaku's BATTLE ROYALE (200) is sometimes hailed as a modern classic. Quentin Tarantino certainly thinks so, and who are we to argue with him!? Well at least one of the Dads is keen for an argument as someone didn't enjoy this. But if unbelievably violent satire is your thing, this movie would fit the bill. It is really very violent though. Did I mention it's violent?

Identity is a film that we watched.

RUSH HOUR is the 1998 buddy action comedy film brought to us by the visionary auteur Brett Ratner. We can be as horrible as we like about him, because he's a gigantic turd. However, this film marked the first non-dubbed Jackie Chan action film, his Hollywood breakthrough if you like. Let's see if it stands up after 20 plus years!

Boogie Nights is a movie we've mentioned a lot on the show. It was released in 1997, and I don't think I've seen it since then! Time to revisit it and see if this holds up after all these years!

This is a trip down memory lane. It's a movie that Sidey studied at school and that Dan went to see at the pictures on it's opening night. We watched The Third Man, the classic film noir, Harry Lime bootlegging story. There's loads of positive vibes about this online, but how will it fare under the critical eye of the Bad Dads?

Risky territory here, as we take our first look at the work of the Coen Brothers. Risky in that I'm going to be very disappointed if any of the guys didn't enjoy this movie! Blood Simple is the 1984 debut movie of the Coen Brothers. The movie features excellent turns by John Getz, Frances McDormand, Dan Hedaya, and M. Emmet Walsh. All the trademark Coen touches are present, so surely we can mark this one down as a hit!?

Stuntman and fight choreographer turned writer and director Jesse V. Johnson's third collaboration with English martial artist Scott Adkins was 2018's THE DEBT COLLECTOR, a superior DTV action crime-thriller. Adkins plays French, an ex-paratrooper and martial arts instructor who becomes drawn into the criminal underground as a debt collector when his dojo is affected by financial troubles. Peter Andre has never seen Shane Meadows genre-smashing 2004 thriller DEAD MAN's SHOES so we sat down this week to watch it. A few of the Dads found something to like in this listener nominated movie. Sidey on the other hand.... Well he wasn't a fan. Not by a long shot! We watched The Slammin' Salmon, and you probably shouldn't!

A favourite of Dan's and an absolute epic.... we watched Legends of the Fall. Some stuff happens and it's all very dramatic. The main take away from this movie is that Brad Pitt looks absolutely incredible. He really does. I knew nothing about this movie, so I was taken aback by all the dramatic events that take place.
